I have only just stumbled on this lovely piece of original thinking from Papercut, Sweden. I believe it’s just won a One Show Gold pencil, and I’m not surprised. A great piece of work for Doritos. And a great example of doing exactly the opposite of what a client has requested. They want a banner, we won’t give them any, at all.

It’s a simple idea, based on replacing all standard online media content/formats with content of your choice (Flickr, FB, desktop library etc), but it is beautifully executed and very flexible. I’m sure people will have the plug-in in place for quite a while before they switch back to normal banner overload view, if they switch back at all.
