20 Things that happened on the Internet in 2011

’20things’ is concocted by Syzygy Group, the mother ship for agencies Syzygy, Unique, Hi-Res! and Ars Thanea.

Within this illustration (by Peter Jaworowski, Executive Creative Director & Michal Lisowski, Lead Artist @ Ars Thanea) are 20 references to events that took place online in 2011. Although this isn’t a competition they do have a few signed limited edition prints to give away. Follow them on Twitter and tweet a link to the picture using the hashtag #20things. They’ll randomly pick a couple of lucky people each day. To help you along, they’ll release clues over the coming days.

Antwerp Zoo campaign

Just saw this on Creative Social. From Boondoggle in Belgium (The people who gave us Banner Concerts).

Milky milky

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to milk a cow by hand – here’s your chance! It’s disturbingly addictive.

By Perfect Fools

It’s a clock. But humanised.

In a world obsessed by accuracy, human beings are the weakest link. We’ve invented machines that are more precise than we can relate to.

It’s a Clock humanises the measurement of time to provide us with a scale more suited to the realities of life.

Mentos beat box

I never saw this when it was first released. Cracked me up. By B-Reel and BBH London.
